Mirror finish wet sanded cooler on stock/ not sanded 6700k

I am planning to reuse my ancient Thermalright True Black for my new 6700k build. Will see how it performs as I will be aiming to push the CPU to its absolute limits.

BTW - my cooler is sanded to mirror finish - is this going to be a problem for 6700k? Are the concave by design? Anybody has an idea?

I am not looking forward to wet sanding CPU, especially with arm injury I am trying to recover from

If I were you I would double check it's suitable to use TRUE black on Skylake chip. The new CPU's from Intel have considerably thinner subtract's as such are more prone to cracking under pressure from a heatsink.

Yes, I remember reading news about it some time ago. Do you have any idea where could I check it? I mean is there a weight limit for heat sink or any other recommendation which I could check and follow?

I guess in a way my flat bottomed Thermalright should be safer on the CPU even if not too effective in cooling (if there is too big of the gap between surfaces).

I will doing my research but I have to move fast because if I decide to order new heatsink I have time till tomorrow morning to stop my order and add to it another item.

So what would you recommend guys? I have Antec P180 case. Is there any AIO that would fit into it? If not what Air solution would you go for 6700k? I was eyeing Noctua D15 or whatever it is called but my god it is humongous and seriously doubt I would fit it into P180 especially that I bought G.Skill Tritend's. Also I am not sure there is need for it with 6700 as it is supposedly voltage limited rather then temperature?

Oh I know that, but I am too old and not that HC any more to lap a CPU. I just cannot be bothered any more

But as CPU is concave and my sink is flat there is less chance for cracking the CPU I guess.
