Only had the car for just over 2 weeks and some idiot who doesn't know how to drive a Corsa cracked into my mirror this morning. I pulled into the next road to have a look at the mirror and to calm down before driving again and as I shut the door the plastic bit fell off. It seems to have reattached easily enough but the mirror itself is being held in by wires it seems at the moment, thought the mirror itself appears to be fine. It appears that a clip or two may be broken on the mirror holder. I didn't get the number plate annoyingly as it was on a corner. I know the road quite well and know it can be difficult on the other guys side of the road, but you would have thought he/she would have been able to stay that side with a car that is smaller than mine (I manage it when I'm on that side).
I don't tend to go particularly fast on this road, despite it being straight most of the way due to wildlife (deers etc) that like to run across, so it annoys me that this other person obviously didn't care. All I can say is I hope their mirror was damaged too...
Pretty annoyed really as now I'm gonna have to get it fixed. Luckily the damage doesn't seem too severe so it shouldn't cost much, though I have no idea, any of you?
Also, this happened to anyone else recently?
