How's the best way of doing this?

I'm thinking about either getting a new HDD (bigger) or a SSD drive. If I wanted to re-create my current setup (files, folders, applications) on the new drive what options do I have?

Thanks,

I don't know whether it got fixed but CCC always used to screw up if you had Adobe applications installed. It would copy OK but certainly CS3 and CS4 would fail. SuperDuper! doesn't have that problem and it's what I'd recommend.

Time machine work for me last week :) Just dont put your name in as the new user for when you install osx (if you dont have the disc to go from you current snow leopard, i only have an upgrade and had to install from leopard so i couldnt restore my user area till i got to snow leopard)
