Complete the game without shooting an enemy
Do I have to run through the entire game again, or if it was only 1 or 2 chapters where I actually shot an enemy can I just do those again?

Edit; Ooops thread title fail.

Whole run through of the game :p

No shooting any enemies - very easy if your willing to take time to split them up

SLide kick/flying kick 3 punch combo is pretty good :)

Some bits you think are practically impossible without firearms, but all you have to do is hide and the enemies come to you, just do slow-mo and disarm them. Some enemies are programmed not to move, so use the tactic Psymonkee said.

Hardest part without guns is easily the car decks of the boat, ch7 :)

First deck is easy:

Out of the truck, disarm first guy (he's looking the wrong way), toss the weapon and run ahead on the left hand side (dark/shadowey) and jump the boxes - should lose the bad guys for ~5 - 10 secs. Forwards and left are 2 trucks - jump up the bonnet and then to the roof of the one nearest the wall. From the roof wallrun, turn jump and climb the venting.

Second Deck:

There should be a respawn after completing the first deck so I'll go from there. Run forwards, down the ladder, and into the corridor. Turn right away from your objective and run out to the cars. 1 guard out to the left - run straight at him, slide kick, run round the back and quick disarm. Toss the weapon, 3 left.

Back into the little corridor and try to bait another one out into the open - can be lured quite easily. Usually one in the cars at the other end of the corridor, one by the opposite side and the guy with the heavy MG in the middle. Personally I try to hit and run the guy by the cars which provide cover.

After that you may be best waiting to heal if your damaged and rushing the heavy MG guy dropkick, 3 punch combo should have him reeling but you will draw fire from the other guy. Run away again as all the guys have limited health. Repeat until dead.

If your feeling fancy try the slide/disarm method too. Run at them, slide/enter slo-mo and look up at them. Weapon turns red and hit Y :>

Rst of the game is easy :p

It will be easy to run through on a low difficulty in a few hours without shooting - i did it on hard on my first play through and my god Chapter 7 annoyed me, that was pretty intense with all the enemies not being able to shoot! :(

I found the whole game easy enough to do without shooting anyone...apart from when I got to the final level with the servers. Beat up everyone bar the guy with the heavy gun, he wouldn't move and I couldn't get close enough to hit him as he kept killing me, so after about 10 attempts at being nice I picked up a gun and shot him. :D

Didn't get the achievement though. :(

I did almost the entire game without using a gun, just I think chapter 2 I did it because I wanted to try it out, then I found that 80gp for not using them, I was like doh, did all the latter levels without using guns at all in the hopes i might be able to just do the chapter again.

But in general I didn't like the game so not wanting to spend much more time on it before I send it back to the rental place.

This is the problem with achievements though, you end up playing the game certain ways just for the sake of getting a higher score!

I just played through guns blazing when I wanted to and didn't bother with the achievement. In later levels, it's pretty useful to be able to take out a few guys with weapons.

I decided to play the game this way. I think it suited the game style better, there were a few bits that i remember took a while to do such as the docks as mentioned and some of the later levels where there are swarms of enemies.

That's the good thing about achievements, they make you look at situations in different ways.

I guess, it's kind of both good and bad though; even if you haven't used a gun for the whole game up until any enemy on say the last level, you don't get it. So you haven't looked at it in a different way really, it's governing how you play if you want the achievement, making it more restrictive, surely.

That achievement was a piece of cake, not once did I need a gun or want to use one.

I'm sure if I ever replay it on hard I'll be using guns though :p

My only regret was disarming a guy then firing by accident when his friend appeared, (on the boat level I think) and I didn't get the trophy (in my case) until my second play-through (which I was happy to do cos I enjoyed the game and wanted to do a bag run) :)
