Hi Folks,

I bought ME off D2D yesterday so I could download it today while I was at work and play it tonight. (Don't want to buy the disk as my gaming pc only has hard drives and no cd/dvd drives).

This morning however I am just getting this message

Server Error

There's been an error with your request. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please empty your browser temp file, close all browsers and try again. If the error repeats please visit our Support Center to report this error.

I have tried clearing my temp file but it has not worked. I presume it may be something to do with busy servers etc but I am not sure. This is the first game I have bought through D2D as most of my games I get through Steam. Any one else have this problem?

Yeh....I'm gettinmg the same!

This is the last time I ever use a pre order download service!
They have your money and now you just have to wait until they fix things!

I know! I prefer steam but it's not out on there!

I could buy it on my lunch break but no cd/dvd drive in my gaming dvd makes it a bit difficult. I could install the game over my network from my media pc but I'd have the problem of probably having to go downstairs and put t he disk in everytime I want to play it (that's if the game will even recognise the game disk is in on a machine over the network!)

I am at work now but hopefully it'll be ok tonight.

They're not exactly cheap just to use every now and again. Anyway, I'd prefer my games on my hdd so I don't have to keep swapping disks etc. That's why I prefer steam to get my games.

Rubbish, was looking at leaving work a bit early so I could get home and get it downloaded! Maybe I'll stay a bit later then. It'll take me an age to get as I only have 2mb cable!

Errr, yes it is unless they don't release it in the UK, but it's been on steam since yesterday or the day before yesterday iirc.
Rip-off 49 euros though...

EA haven't released their games on Steam in the UK.

***** knows why, but they won't be getting any of my money until they do.

Only 11 hours for me!

Looks like some breakfast gaming on a Saturday morning....that'll go down well with the wife!

Is there anyway to forward ports for the download manager? It doesn't seem to want to download anymore the 100kb/s. Normally my download speed is ~240kb/s. Only 4 more hours to go!

:(

Had to start my download again. For some reason it went to complete but was 500mb too small. There was a try looking for new peers link but it didn't work. Now it is downloading at 50kb/s and is set to take 1 day 3 hrs to download :(

You sure your ISP doesn't restrict the speed from certain sources?

Failing that, why not just go and get an external DVD drive like stated above, they can be had for £20-£30 and will also allow you to back up your data to DVD too.
