Mirror's Edge demo

I'm calling shenanigans. I heard this rumor last week too, just doesn't sound feasible to me as the game hasn't gone gold yet.

You know that the majority of demos are released before the game goes gold? How did you miss that, all the major demos like Bioshock, Lost Planet, Vegas, Crackdown and many others came out on the network long before they went gold.
 
I hope this is true, I'm following this game and it looks very interesting, and I love the visual style.

Because all of those games came out before i owned a PS3.

I see what you mean about my comment though, i don't know why i worded it like that. I just think it's too far before release for it to come out so quietly.
 
I wouldn't get to excited, apparently there's no demo tomorrow, only the abilty to pre-order from Tomorrows date, the 26th. It seems a poorly worded statement from EA has been taken the wrong way. Those who pre-order will get a code to unlock a time trial bit in the demo, when it comes out.

EA: No Mirror's Edge demo today

EA has issued a statement saying that the Mirror's Edge demo won't be coming out today, despite internet reports. "I am afraid this news story is result of confusion in the press release issued earlier this month. The Pre-orders will go live as of tomorrow but the demo will be going live at a later date." said an EA Spokesperson.
