I'm not sure where to put this but here goes.

I purchased a download version (legit) of this game from EA and it seems to load up fine etc. I'm going to presume therefore it's the latest version, and I don't need to start hunting for patches.

Whenever I'm playing, the screen seems to blank out for a few seconds when I want to do something mildly complex and my view of its world disappears. Say e.g. I want to jump. I can run, but as soon as I take off, the screen goes black, and then it returns a few seconds later to where I've landed.

The sound also disappears I should add.

I started on 1600x1200, most settings on medium and AA on 2x. I gradually reduced all these settings and lowered the resolution to 1280x1024. However the problem doesn't go away, and more importantly the nature of it doesn't seem to reduce/increase either. This is making me think that it surely can't be my spec?

AMD AM2 6000+
Asus M2n32-SLI Deluxe Wifi
Geil 4GB PC6400 Ram
BFG 8800 GTS 640MB
Iiyama Pro 513 MA203DT 22" monitor.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried that. :)

This is the first time I've ALT TABBED out of the game, and am finding both cores of my CPU locked at 100%. I also have an error balloon pop up saying my drivers crashed but were recovered?

Are you on vista or xp? 32bit or 64bit?

The only sound problem i had was with my onboard sound and it made the street noises very very loud. Updating sound drivers fixed that.

The one thing I do find annoying is that you can't really save it. And there aren't enough check points, so if you exit the game - the entire level has to be done again (I think).

Well one thing i have noticed is that there seems be major and minor checkpoints. You could say like a minor save is after a hard fight/chase or a puzzle , and a major is like before the above. Its not that the entire level/chapter has to be done again if you quit the game and come back later, and minor checkpoints is like if you fall off a building and die it goes back to after the fight/chase or what have you i think :)

This game is quite intrigueing, I just love the colours lol!

One thing - I'm at the point where Faith has just listened in on the guy with the grey haiir, and I have a minute to get out of there before the swat team arrives.

I go the main room, and climb up the water feature, and then climb to the second tier. I smash all the windows (because, well, it's fun), but then where on earth do I go?

I keep thinking it should be easy but there's some really hard bits in it.

I'm stuck again, I can't for the life of me work out how to climb up a damn air conditioner. I've checked this time to see if there's anything else to climb up - but nothing

I'm on Parendella/Kruger and I can see the damn red door at the top of the building, but I just can't seem to climb to the top of it?

EDIT - just as I post I did it...pfft.
