Mirrors

Got the Motrax Mini end bar mirrors fitted on my DRZ. Must admit they're not great (what mirrors are?), can't see what's directly behind you, but they're perfect for blind spots left and right of you. They aim underneath my arms and I get a good view of oncoming opposite lane traffic before I do a lifesaver to overtake. (They still call it that?!)

I had to mod them slightly to fit the Renthals, as I think they're fatter than standard bars.

To be honest the standard mirrors look junk and don't do much better job. I got mine from sportsbikeshop for £20 delivered, tried to link them but seems they're not there no more.

I have DRZ mirrors on my R30 and they're fine, even with the vibes which the 644 lump puts out through the bars.

I think it's the old issue of mirrors being viewed by some as unstylish, so some folks try to minimise their visibility upon the bike and often limit the visibility they get from the mirrors to the point of being pointless having any.

The old blind spot is an area you can see by turning your head, with the inner bar mirrors the blind spot is moved directly behind you..
 
whats up with the stock mirrors? doesn't matter what they looklike its the job they do that's important
