I was tidying up my room yesterday and found an opened bank statement as well as an unopened T-mobile bill. In my hurry I threw them in the bin without thinking about it and emptied my bin into the big one outside.

This morning I woke up and realised I shouldn't have put them into the bin without shredding them or something so I went outside and the statements have gone (they were in a bag).

Now I am very worried I am going to be defrauded again, what can they do with this information?

Could use that as 2 forms of ID at some places to get credit/goods (at some places, some wont count a mobile and/or need photo id). Set up a DD for goods/services (contract phones for example) using your bank details

Take your life savings!

Nah, seriously, they could steal your ID.

Who do you bank with? Might be worth speaking to them - there is an upgrade on all Lloyds TSB accounts that incorporates ID Theft 'insurance'

Is your neighbour trustworthy?

How did they manage to get into his garden??

It was very windy last night and the bin llid blew open. I assume they fell out and got blown accross. The neighbour is very trustwothy.
