missing bootmgr vista

got this issue i have tried the vista disk to repair but it cant see the windows OS
i have gone into cmd prompt anyways and tried bootsec /fixmbr and fixboot but its still the same ?

any ideas ?

Make sure its still set to boot from the OS drive. I had a mate who had this happen and turned out his BIOS switched his boot drives around.. He ended up formatting before realising what it had done.

you could also try the '/rebuildbcd' switch
