Missing Graphics Card & Monitor...

Hi guys,

I’ve just come back form fixing friends broadband connection (Driver issue with modem – fixed!) and she pointed out a couple of other problems she’s been having…

Basically, she can’t setup either a monitor or graphics card? As a result, the screen is slow and games are unusable?

I really don’t know what to do next? It’s a ‘Time’ machine, which I considered top be my first handicap – although she has the original drivers CD? But there are absolutely loads of possibilities… And I can’t just update the device from the CD because I don’t have that option?

Any ideas?

I would remove the monitor from Device Manager, and see what happens.

If that fails, remove monitor from DM, then uninstall graphic card.

Nevermind guys; all sorted! I just installed the nVidia graphics/system driver? I think she may have deleted it
