Hi guys,

I recently purchased 2 x 2gb ddr2 sticks from OC to upgrade my computer from 2GB to 4GB ram. After installation windows only shows as having 2.50gb instead of 4gb. I am running windows vista 64bit edition on a asus P5VD2MX SE motherboard with an ati 4870 graphics card. I have installed CPUZ and its showing as 4096Mbytes of memory installed so i am asuming they have been fitted correctly. Any help as to why windows is only showing 2.50GB would be appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

simple: go to chipset configuration in bios and enable pci mapping or something with mapping in the name. i cant remember what its specifically called. sorry

On boot up it states the memory is only 2560GB. I have tried going into the chipset configuration but there is nothing with mapping in the name. Any other suggestions?

Thanks
