missing parts in my box ?

Hi

Ive received 2x 7970 from overclockers online store today.

After watching many unboxing "you tube" videos of the exact same card it seems that I am missing a HDMI to DVI display port cable?

The videos on you tube are of american origin, but some other videos are from other countries, not sure if it is the UK

Also I thought all the 7970s has a dual bios switch on top of the card, not that I will use this function,but I dont have it on my cards? weird?

Am I wrong about the dual bios switch thing and ps the boxes were properly sealed, I dont know maybe the UK edition of the cards dont have the extra cable.

It would probably help by posting the exact card you ordered. The dual BIOS switch should be located just right (right as you look at it mounted in a standard case) of the crossfire connectors, just to rule out the possibility of you looking in the wrong location on the card.

The accessories weren't missing, Sapphire had simply changed what was included.

Nah, ive checked thoroghly and no bios switch, I used a magnifine glass to look for the small switch to no avail, maybe it doesnt come with a dual bios, not that i wud use it anyways,

Ive looked online and it states that 7970s all have dual bios's, I have looked where the xfire connecions are on the corner top of the card and there is a bit with the numbers printed, 1 and 2 meaning bios 1 and 2, maybe the switch was removed by overclockers to.? or fell off, hard to believe that both 7970s dont have em, maybe this batch came without it.

And with regards to the missing wires, they are 100% missing as the contents states a hdmi to dvi cable is defo included.

Maybe overclockers staff took them out to sell them seperatley or somthing.

It doesnt bother me as I have a single screen set up but some one else may be bothered.

Where does it state this?

If it's on the OcUK shop site then maybe the manufacturer has changed the accessories included without updating their website which is where OcUK will get the information from.

No they didn't.

Yeah, its the manufacturer that decided not to add them anymore, was only joking about staff removing them, both the boxes were sealed so its cool.

Please see my other post as i have just updated the results of my new cards through heaven dx11 benchmark, 3x benchmakings, 1st the 5970, then 7970 and then 7970s xfire, took me a couple of hours but results are good, with a minor concern on the heat during full load.
