I was shocked to see some statistics on missing people in the UK.

Where do they all go, are they found and not reported, as the amount that disappear is staggering. Nearly a million people gone in 3 years !

. An estimated 216,000individuals were reported missing to UK police forces in the year 2010-11

. It is estimated there are more than 315,000 missing person incidents each year in the UK (NCA, 2015

To put it into perspective, it’s about 20k people that are still missing after a year out of the million or so initially reported missing.

Do you not follow any local police forces on social media? constant missing person appeals, most are "found" within a few days.

And many of that million will be repetition. The person going missing multiple times.
Also consider how many of those 20k will be criminals fleeing, quite often to their country of origin.

Some people just don't want to be found.

99% of the missing people things i see on social media normally turn up.. I'd say the "missing and not come home" number is MUCH lower than that statistic.

Immigrants - is there anything for which they can't be blamed?
