Hi,
had to disassemble PC after flat fire to clean it all from soot...

Now I think i have lost a connector for PWM from the pump..what I get from pump is molex and 2pin connector..I need 4 pin for PWM for MOBO dont I ?
before I disassembled the PC it pump was controlled by PWM but there are no connectors anywhere left....I think I have tried all options with 2pin but no luck..

Do I need a connector ? am I missing something ?
Please advise
Thanks

The two pin (rpm sense and control wires) plugs into a pwm header. You don't need the other two pins (+12v and gnd) usually found on a pwm connector as the pump is getting power via the molex.

When I plug it in cpu fan pins, mobo still doesnt detect it ...
will give it a go again tomorrow
