This is getting very annoying now, I've tried various 'fixes' reported online to solve the issue and its still b0rked.
I have various mkv files on several different hard drives.
On one of my usb drives, thumbnails show for all my mkv files. On another drive, the icons are the vlc traffic cones. I've changed the usual settings in windows 7, and can't seem to fix this. Also tried various 'codec' packs which supposedly fix this with no luck. How can this be so hard?
Could it be the mkv container itself, and the files contained within are different types, even tho both in the same mkv 'box'
