:confused:Can any clever person sort this problem out for me?

At some point months ago I lost the ability to browse to my documents or other files in explorer because my name does not appear in the user accounts folder.
My wifes account is there and so is public but mine isn't!
I know all the documents and files are intact beacuse I can access them through the side panel (Favorite locations when in explorer).

The problem is that some programmes like the Cyrysis benchmark tool only allow you to browse the C drive to point it at the Crysis folder and I can't see my documents!
I have also had this problem with some plugins I use with my home recordind studio.

Any ideas how to show this folder agian?

Recreate the User Profile then copy them across. You may have to take ownership of the files to move them which is done via right click, properties, security tab, and owners.

Sorry to sound dumb..but can you explain how I sould re create the profile?

Thanks

You shouldn't be able to login without a profile of some sort, run up a command prompt and type the command set, then have a look at the USERPROFILE environment variable, what is that set to?
