Lost one off my N reg 306 xldt. Probably due to a hole in the road

Looked on ebay, and I can only see newer models/different styles.
Are there any places that sell this kind of thing? Without going from garage to garage... (no time!).

I guess I could get 4 new ones, but seems like a bit of an overkill.

If I was in your position I would keep an eye on ebay for a cheap set of newer style ones. You shouldn't be in any rush to get them (its not like your cars off the road) so if you bide your time a cheap used set will come along.

Alternative would be a scrappy but that depends on your area.

DON'T get any aftermarket ones, they all look rubbish.

If you do cabletie them make sure you have a way of removing the cable ties should you get a puncture in the middle of nowhere though.

is there anyway of securing centre caps?, seeing a girl from a local estate (Bentilee, incase anyone knows stoke) and i'm convinced some little scrote will get them one night :(

What sizes would I need to know, in order to get a set that fit the wheel? Is is that long number like 145/10 or something?

on the side of the tyre it will say something like 195 / 45 /16

its the last number the 16 your interested in. thats what size your wheel is eg 16 inch.

dunno, but if you find a way, let me know, dont want my superlight centre caps being stolen, they're shiney! :p

As said above, try the local breakers yard. Or failing that, i'm pretty sure you can buy singular wheeltrims from the manufacturer. They're sometimes fairly expensive, be prepared to pay at least £20 though.
