I miss it very very much, not the Tornadoes, the storms... NY state is a boring place for a person who loves real storms with lots of lightning...


Yes, this is not normal (I guess), but I have been here 6 years & the only time I have seen lightning worth anything is a few months back... I so wish I could go back, but it is not just me here... My parents, sister & her family came... Parents built a house, sister got one & fixed it up... Brother in law has a new job (for a few weeks),,, I just started missing that part of the country around a year back, when the new house was being lived in for a few months...

Does the 78 in your name refer to the year of your birth? If so that would make you 38 - more than old enough to start your own life wherever you damn well want. So what's stopping you?

Our wheelie bin blew over last night.

Pure carnage as it was the can/tin foil recycling one, the noise was just like tin cans blowing around and hitting things, it was that bad.

We get it bad in North Somerset, i've often chased storms all the way to the back of my garden - But they still come back.
