Hi again all. I basically am using my mission speakers as my HT setup as well with my 753 Left and right, and a 753 centre with 751 rears. My center 753 was having an issue with the tweeter distorting, this was not reproduced when i used one of the left or right pair as center so definetly not the source. I only had 751 tweeter as spares and a spare 751 crossover. So basically removed the 753 HF crossover side and replaced it with the HF parts from my 751 crossover, as the peerless tweeter is an 8 ohm vs the 4 ohm original, so essentially its the proper values /caps/inductor etc.. (these are non freedoms). Sounds just as good to me and no distorting, anything wrong with my thinking?

Hi, thanks for the replies. Its not a 75C, its Tri-753 as fronts, got the single off ebay for 30 quid lol, only difference its a black one and the left and right are roswewood, shame. I did have a 75C when my room was a smaller one but it always bugged me that the tweeter was a silk dome and it never felt timbre matched to the 753s, never tried the 77c but i do hear they're awesome.
