Mission: Impossible III

Saw this for the first time last night and was very disapointed. I thought the first two were great, but this one just seemed like a normal action film. I think the only time the MI music was played was during the credits. There was virtually no linkage with the MI franchise.

The film is ok as a standalone, but doesn't deserve the MI name.

Anyone else think so?

It was OK, maybe a 6 at best.
Have to admit that some of the bits in films like this always make me wonder. For example, the helicopter chase. Just why did the bad guy in the Cobra gunship decide to fly at the level he did, why not fly above the wind turbines and use the 20mm gatling gun that was fitted in the nose of the chopper?

LOL. Yeah, good point. I didn't even see the point of the helicopter anyway, why didn't they just drive off in the van
