Hi,
I ordered all the gear for a new rig a few days ago.
Due to be delivered 28th December.

Problem is, i changed my mind on something.
I ordered 32-Bit Vista but now want 64-Bit Vista, plus i'd like to swap my 2gb RAM for a 4gb set.

How are OcUK with this sort of thing, and how am i best sorting it out?

thanks

even if your too late to stop the order as long as you don't break the seal on windows you could return it along with the ram, I know it would mean a couple of days delay before you could go ahead with you new build - at least you would end up with exactly what you want.

With the RETAIL version of vista, dont you get the choice of 32/64 on the disk?

I know the OEM versions are set to one or the other, either 32, or 64.

BUt either way, Im sure they will be fine with an exchange as long as you dont open anything, it means more dosh for them so I cant see it being a prob.

correct, with the retail version of Vista Untimate I purchased from OC there were two discs the 32bit and 64bit versions, mind you the price they cost I would have expected Bill Gates to come around and install it for me :D
