Hi,

I'm looking into building a mini-itx desktop but am having trouble finding a motherboard, I would appreciate any help. It must be -

Mini-itx
Support for Phenom II x4 955 (not the BE)
Atleast 2x SATA 6 Gbps
USB 3
1x PCIex16
Support for atleast 8Gb DDR3 1600MHz

The closest one I've found is the Asus M4A88T-I Deluxe, which as far as I can see doesn't have SATA III.

Thanks in advance for any help.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant the 95w versions of the Phenom II x4, 965 etc...

Is your only option. No 1600MHz RAM only 1333 but TBH you probably won't notice the difference. Simple fact is very few mITX mobos support 1600MHz.

This and the ASUS are the only two AM3 mITX mobos I know of so its your call what would you rather have: SATA-III or 1600MHz RAM.

Also if you are serious about mITX go Intel, there is a wider choice and generally better specced and hey Intel is just generally better :p

Thanks :) Haven't heard of that company.

As for Intel; I've certainly been thinking about an i3 2100 setup, I understand for some gaming the i3 2100 would be better than any Phenom II x4?
