MITX Bit Fenix Prodigy build

Hi Guys

Right I'm not new to building pc's but have become stuck with this particular build for a client. Max spend is around 600ish

They like and want the bit Fenix prodigy case. Main uses will be video rendering and gaming.

An Intel build Haswell or Ivy is proving to be too expensive so now looking at the AMD path. Never really dabbled with them so I have no clue to what is a decent cpu or APU. Searching the forums seems to be the Pileriver chip choice. Can I Ask what would the Intel equivalent?

Games would be looking to run the most recent i.e Battlefield, crisis the usual suspects 1080p.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

With that budget AMD is the clear choice, better performance per pound than Intel. I've added a better after-market heatsink as the retail one is very, very loud

I wouldn't put a 8320 (or any 8***/6***) on a board like that..

The chip runs very hot anyway, then theres the case of it using OVER it's Approved wattage.. which means a board without good power regulation could fail (or your PC will just shut down)..

It's a shame AMD haven't got any good mATX/ITX boards.

Gonna have to be intel.

drat.. so no decent AMD ITX motherboards.. the intel build I spec'd up was around the 850 mark.. but then again that was a 4670k.. with a 7950. suppose I could look at a lower spec I5 ivy
