I know this should probably be in cases but...

I'm looking for a nice case for a mITX build, it's going to have a 35-65W CPU in it but no graphics card. I need space to put a half height card in, but not a graphics card so it won't need to deal with that heat. I won't bother with a CD, and probably only want to put 1 or maybe 2 2.5" drives in. Power can be internal or via a power brick. Ideally I'd like to stick it on the shelf under the TV so kind of low and flat. I'm not going to be plugging things in the front often (or at all?)

I'd prefer it to look simple and unobtrusive, so flat brushed aluminum faschias are good, simple led lighting on power is good. Glossy plastic and neon everywhere not so much :)

Of the things OcUK stock, I liked the Streamcom cases the best. (Well I like the OrigenAE too but it's expensive and a HTPC case, no need for the display). Thinking about it some more, I don't want a cd, slot load or otherwise; I just don't use them anymore.

I liked the Streamcom F1CB Evo the best (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-028-SR&groupid=2362&catid=2382) and was close to ordering one but curses! No way to fit a Low Profile card.

So with some googling around, it seems the Streamcom cases are in fact manufactured by Wesena. In the US, there is a slightly larger model available - HTPC-ITX4-v3 that is pretty much identical but takes a 80mm cooling fan and fits a Low Profile PCIE card - and can use a slightly bigger CPU cooler.

D: 240mm×250mm×100mm (4cm wider, 2.5cm taller)

(The PCIE card is going to be an Intel dual port NIC, the CPU is i7 4770T)

That case is just a Streacom ST-F7CS without the optical slot. Given that a slotless F1C EVO has arrived at Overclockers, it may not be too long before the slotless F7CS may arrive too.

Yeah I know. The guy in the states has a whole bunch of cases that aren't on the Streamcom site - I suspect they do small run trials through him and if they take sell well enough do a larger production run (and rebrand as Streamcom).

The manufacturing company for all the cases Wesena, I'm not sure if that's the same company as Streamcom or they just subcontract all the work. Their logo is on the Streamcom site.

Regardless, I like the Aesthetics of it - and the front is uncluttered with ports and optical slots. The guy is doing them for £53 + shipping so it's all good.
