Hi All,

Question: Is there a huge difference these days between choosing, MITX vs MATX, for the following use:

Background:
Haven't built a PC in 4-5 years, and looking at updating my current rig.
(i5-2500K 3.3, NVidia 570, in a Raven 3 case)

Situation:
Current build is a bit big for the area in the flat, so looking to make it smaller.
Main games looking to play would be Battlefield 1, Witcher 3, and anything coming out next winter - All at high settings. (Assuming a1060/1080 will handle all of this)

Will be driving a single 27" monitor, 1080 or 4K, still to be decided.

Use Adobe Lightroom for Photo Editing - due to using a laptop for travel photos, would love to put a thunderbolt port in, as Laptop has one, so fastest way to access a portable archive.

Don't overclock, as haven't seen the need to at the moment.

Reading up at the moment, but in the past the communitee here has the fastest and best answers -so thank you in advance.

Well Matx will give you better airflow and more upgradability, mitx is generally to save space or transport it

Jaijintek Thetis is ATX with the size of mATX case! can get a lovely 45mm thick 240 rad up the top if needs be with dual glass panels and alumin body for £80 odd off here.
or if you've got the case the Jonsbo UMX4 is just slightly bigger but 2x 120 fans up top and 2 at the bottom. both cases can handle a long GPU .

I have that case as well with a mATX board. I love it!
