Mix and match ram?

Ok, basically, if I have 6 memory slots and have a triple channel kit in 3 slots running at one speed, can I put a different kit running at a different speed in the other 3 slots?

I don't know. I had 4 sticks of different sizes but when mixed together wouldn't allow Windows to boot.

I would doubt they work, but it wouldn't harm anything to try them out.

Im sure you could but it'll only run as fast as the slowest stick of RAM, AFAIK
