Right gents/ladys

Anybody technical explain me?

currenly a 6950 installed unlocked to 6970 (xfx)

the bought another XFX 6950, however this would not unlock and it was a totally different design (non reference??)

i have now bought a 6970 with a view to putting the middle non ref 6950 on ebay...

Im assuming im best putting the 6970 as my main card? anything else people can recomend? just want to get max performance ..

Some companies will let your return the middle 6950 that won't unlock under DSR. Try that.

I would personally flash the first 6950 back to a 6950 and xfire it with the XFX as dual 6950 smashes every game to bits.

Then sell the 6970 or return under DSR
 
I have the same but i have the 6950 in the first slot, reason being if the second card has to play catch up rendering the next frame the your better off with a faster card in slot 2 but then i could be talking rubbish
