Mixed Corsair

Hiya guys,
Managed to pick up another 8Gb of corsair vengeance.
Currently have 8Gb of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-307-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517
I've tried adding another 8Gb of this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-299-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517
But keep getting BSOD.
I did have it overclocked to 887mhz so i'll try at stock or up the voltage to 1.6v, but just to confirm, can these two be mixed together?

Both should work together ok, but you as mentioned drop the speed or up the voltage a little, if does not work run mem test on each module, you could have a faulty stick.

They're the same voltage and timings so they should work together without doing anything special.
