Mixed CPU/gfx question re TV tuner

Want to run tv on 17" monitor thru PCI tv card at same time as gaming on 22". Is this going to be more GPU or CPU intensive? Will I still be able to run games on high using e2200 @ 3Ghz, 8800GTS 512 or would it need more L2 cache or quad core/faster gfx card? (eg. COD4 but not crysis cos that is crippled even with all resources thrown at it :p)
 
if the tv tuner is using hardware accelrated decoding, most of the work is done on the graphics card, if it uses something like ffdshow, most of the work is on the cpu, it uses about 15-20% of my cpu with hardware acceleration on plus i use a usb tv stick which sucks more resources than pci, also my xfi is disabled at the moment. You should still be able to run games, im not sure about the settings it will be playable on though.
