I am looking to upgrade my machine as it has not been touched in sometime,, I have a 500gb ssd, 1Tb hard disk,,, but graphics cards is v old nvidia,, cpu q6600. 8gb mem ddr2

I use it for photo processing in Lightroom, it is not able to run newer games well, but would like the opportunity,,, so i am looking for advice re components,,, ie chip, cooler, memory, graphics card,, that can handle both,,

advice ,, recommendations welcome

hi,, I am working on a budget of around £500-600, not including monitor, though could stretch that a bit if necessary
