Hello all,

Is there anything I should be aware of using brass fittings with copper blocks?

I've always used chrome fittings before and I'm unsure if I should use any extra precautions (or if its a don't do it ever)

Thanks in advance for any help:)

brass and copper are fine together,i think all rads have brass in them for the fitting to screw into,if not then certainly many do,also you get brass chanels ect in rads

Aww perfect thank you:)

Obviously ill throw in the anti corrosion and biocides just worried as I've always been told not to mix metals.

Cheers again :)

Arrgh brilliant thanks for the link:) how have I never come across this site before there's some amazing write ups on there:) (very busy evening reading I think)

I had never considered mixing different solutions would be a problem. Does make perfect sense though. Maybe I'd be best off with a prefab solution to save creating a screw up.

I best read into this as well.

Just when you think you have most of it cracked more stuff to think about pops up :D I love this watercooling buisness its like science class all over again :)

Going for a mayhems additive as I've heard amazing things about them from reading threads on here.

Hopefully it can be added to my back ordered items:)
