Hi,
I have a motherboard (bought about 2 years ago) - the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R. It has four DDR2 slots and two DDR3 slots. Currently I'm using up all the DDR2 slots, and I'm wondering if it's possible to add in DDR3 as well. Will they actually work together? OR will it end in a glorious show of sparks :)

"Populating DDR2 and DDR3 memory modules simultaneously is not supported."

It's right there in the manual mate, it won't work.

no it wont work if u mix DDR2 and 3 as it complete different speed,etc.. u only install either DDR2 or DDR3 only but not mixed by both at same time

it give u to choose which one u install and run -- remember dont excess the RAM max only what GBT mentioned on this spec.
