Mixing ddr2 Ram?

Im looking to buy another 2gb (1x2gb) ddr2 ram but wanted to know if you can mix sets of ram or whether its best to stick with the same kind? I currently have Crucial 2GB DDR2 PC2-8000C5 1000MHz (1x2gb) any ideas?


Intel core2duo x6800,EVGA nForce 680,EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX x2 (Sli),2x150gb Raptors,vista x64.

It's best not to mix if you're overclocking.

But the pc5300 Ballistix should run fine with the pc8000 Ballistix since they should use the same chips.
