Mixing home mains ethernet adapters?

I've had 4 x 85Mbps home mains ethernet adapters working adequately throughout the house for the past 4 years - we're in a rural location so only get 4.5Mbps through the landline. I now want to add another, preferably a 3 port single plug such as one offered by "Teckstar" on ebay (item 180891893353 rated at 200Mbps but speed's not an issue for me), to share internet connection to Sky box, BluRay & Wii from one plug.
My question is, would it work with the existing ones? The supplier is doubtful, but maybe playing safe?

EDIT : Just found a similar option, from Cable Express (ebay item 170838589839) which states it is "Compliant with HomePlug AV 1.0, and co-existing with HomePlug 1.0 nodes". My existing ones state "Certification ... Homeplug 1.0.1" - sounds very promising to me?

Provided the standard they work on is the same it should be fine.
Though it's worth asking the question of the reseller in writing. That way if it doesn't work and they said it did you have more clout returning it.

iirc, as long as all the plugs are based on the homeplug standards (which your existing ones may not be as there was an alternative standard at the time I believe) then the 200mbps ones will coexist. coexist is the key word here, while they will not interfere with one another's operation, I don't believe they will talk to or work with one another. I.e. if you connected your router to a 200mbps plug and your PC to an 85mbps plug then they wouldn't be able to see each other. This is because they use different frequencies to communicate.

200mbps plugs will communicate happily with faster plugs however fyi. If you want all your devices to work together you really need to buy another homeplug 85mbps plug
