Ok, I have a number of these bggers.

I have the comtrend ones that I robbed off my mumss BT Vision kit.
I have Zyxel and Belkin, plus I also have DLink ones.

These are all in pairs.

So, as I needed 3 of them, I then got hold of a Devolo set that had 3 of them.

This allowed me to have my sons xbox and my daughters PC to connect to the router, and it allowed me to finally get rid of wireless.

Now, is it at all dangerous in any way to try out any of the other adapters to see if they could possibly be compatible in any way to the Devolo ones?

Rather than spend anymore money I mean?

I tried to mix the BT ones with TP-Link ethernet plugs but had no joy myself. As for danger, none at all. It's either gonna work or not :)

No, none of them worked.

I think I will try to have 2 sets of 2 then, with me simply adding another ethernet cable to the router and having the belkin set going to my daughters PC... providing that will work and not conflict.

Ill keep em peeled for a spare devolo box though too
