Hey there
Well I have 2 computers, both using DDR (not DDR2) memory and one computer has 2x 512MB sticks of DDR and the other has 1x 1GB stick of PNY DDR memory. Basically I was wondering, if I put the 1GB PNY memory into the computer with 2x 512MB will they work together properly or does the memory have to be the same brand/type. They are all PC3200 400MHz in both computers btw. I am asking this because if it will work it will save me from buying more memory, oh and I plan on using the PC for gaming (if that makes any difference on how the memory will work).
