It's a dumb question but have to ask

I've got one machine with a xfire mobo hosting a 8400gs.

I want to expand my display to 4 monitors so can I just buy any other Nvidia card : let's say GTX 460 or better so I get my 4 displays ?

Obviously if won't be SLI but I'm not worried about that.

Many thanks

If u just wanted extra desktop space then adding another card will work fine

However without using sli u won't be able to play games accros all monitors

Most cards should work
Nvidia cards all use the same drivers. So adding in another nvidia card should be fairly simple
Others cards like ati are doable but u have to less around abit to get both sets of drivers working

460 and 8400 ttogether should be fine
