Hi,
I just added 2x512mb of Corsair CMX512-3200LL DDR RAM to the 2x512mb of PDP Systems Patriot PC3200 XBLK RAM I already had. They are both 3200 (DDR 400) and run similar timings and voltages. My mobo is a DFI Lanparty Ultra-D and it picks up the new sticks, which is a relief, however the boot screen now shows the RAM running at DDR 333 or 2700. I know my old PDP RAM ran at DDR 400 and unless Corsair have wrongly labeled these new sticks then it should as well.
Can anyone explain why this is happening? Is there anything in the BIOS that may need to be tweaked?
Cheers.
