howdy
got 2gb of g.skill 800mhz, 5-5-5-15. i am now kicking myself seeing that you can get the geil 2gb (4-4-4-12) for under £60!
the obviouse thing for me is that these two are very different but can you change the timings on them to match or would it even matter?
i know pretty much zero about ram (or most things!) which is why i never really mess with it. assuming ram is going down in price, should i just wait for another brand with the same timings?
phew! sorry for the long explaination but im sure you lot will put me straight as usual or at least give me some options.
