Hi im buyin a new hard drive and i thought while im at it i might stick some more ram into my comp,

i have at the moment
Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2 Pro TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2 (MY-026-CS)
now for some reason when i was building my comp it never really came into my mind about adding ram in the future, just never really crossed my mind but now i want to add more. The only thing is i dont want to put 2 more 512 sticks in cos then i max out my slots at 2gb :(
so my question is could i use

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-093-CS)
without any problems, or am i stuck with having to buy 2 more 512 sticks?

from what i can see they both have the same timings of 2-3-2-6 which is (as far as i know :D) the important thing? or is there more to it than that?

if they wont work any other suggestions?

oh and incase you need to know im running the following.

Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4GHz
GeForce 6800GT 256MB
Western Digital Caviar 200GB S-ATA
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Corsair TWINX1024-3200XLPRO DDR 1024MB
Kit w/two matched 512MB 3200XL PRO's DIM

thanks for any help you can gimme :p

They would work find together, the timings slacken slightly when using 4 modules (1T-->2T) so there is a small 5%ish perfomance hit, but the extra RAM will make up for that in games like BF2 and the like.

Having said that, you may be better with just the 2x1Gb modules in, I've got 2Gbs and have never managed to use that completely.
