Mixing ram

Considering upgrading to 8GB for the sake of £25

I currently have 2xXMS3 in my machine. Assuming I setup timings manually to that of the lowest spec of the two, is this likely to be OK?

Well, I've ordered it anyway.

If the OCZ stuff doesn't work, I'll stick that on eBay and probably make more than I paid, then just grab some XMS3 with the proceeds

Dropped the ram in (Matching ram on each channel), worked first boot, no need to adjust timings as the board automatically took the highest timings.

My overclock is still fine, too.

Job done
