Hi

I originally added 32gb 4x8gb DDR3 1866mhz Dominator Platinum ram to my system.
I have now stripped my pc down for a new hardline loop and two more Rad's due to adding two more Gpu's. I have decided to add more ram just for the hell of it, but could only get the Dominator Platinum 4x8gb in 2133mhz this time round. Do you see an issue adding this to the system?

I know the system should just run both ram sets at the lowest clock. But will timings be an issue?

I cannot test system as of yet as the waterloop build is still in progress.

Sometimes they are an issue but this is rare and usually easily surmountable by tinkering with each timing.

You could set frequency to 1600MHz with relaxed timings (your motherboard may do the latter automatically) before adding the new RAM, to be on the safe side. And then proceed from there.

I'm running 2 sticks rated at 2400MHz alongside 2 sticks rated at 2133MHz (at 2133MHz - 9-11-10-27-220-1T). No issues, other than I had to find the best timings for the combo manually.

I guess i can always over clock the 1866 to the same timings as the 2133's as this ram apparently is easy to overclock.

Also have a Rampage IV Black mobo, so i am hoping they will play nice :)
