Anyone got any experience with mixing ddr4 ram? I’ve got some ADATA Spectrix d60 CL17 3600mhz 18/18/42 16gb (2X8gb) and I want to add some cheap ram- saw Klevv (SK Hynix) 2X8gb 3600mhz CL 18 22/22/42 elsewhere at £30 looking tasty. I’m running out of ram down to 0.9gb when playing COD and experiencing some crashes. Thoughts on this anyone? Thanks

yes, should be okay as long as the IMC can take the stress of 4 sticks of 3600mhz ram. if not, then you'll have to tinker with the voltages/speed/timings
not sure what system you have, but just be careful with ryzens as they're pretty finicky with 4 sticks

Thanks. I might wait for a 32gb kit deal and then give my sticks to my brother.

Definitely a good idea as 4 x 8GB was really challenging to get working on my AM4 system, even with an high end motherboard. and those were two identical kits. Given most motherboards use a daisy chain layout for memory traces, there is always a performance penalty using 4 ram modules over two, this is especially true of DDR5.
