Mixing Thermal paste?

Probibly a silly idea but wondering if anyone has given this ago?

common sense tells me that different materials, compounds and densitys wouldnt like each other?

wondering if i should completly clean my new H50 and apply something else are stock pre-applied pastes any good?

1) Don't mix thermal materials.
2) The stock material on the H50 is actually fine.

Well by mixing do you mean one on the top of another? That would be a bad idea..
Well the paste on the h50 wont be terrible but using MX-3 or AS5 would maybe knock a few degrees off.

Can i clean it with something like nail polish remover or should i just wipe it?

Use this stuff from OCUK i used it the other day befor fitting my H50 it worked a treat

I bought a small bottle of surgical spirit for cleaning stuff, 99p, should last me a few lifetimes!

Yeah, but a shame surgical spirit leaves oil behind

Nail polish isn't the same as nail polish remover, in case the above causes any confusion.

I'm using a mix of as5 and mx2. No temperature issues whatsoever. This indicates laziness rather than a hope of reaching better temps though.
