mixing whey with milk

can someone answer the following q's for me :)

1) Whens the best time to take it , i take it before and after workout and before bed.

2) how soon will i start seeing results from using this (i add 25g malto as well)

3) do i need to cycle it.

4) how long does a 1kg tub last most of you lot and what dosage do you take?

P.S i also take CEE 1200mg 4 times a day.

I use the plain whey from myprotein (bulk stuff, bout £14.99 for 2.5kg IIRC) and I have it say 30g twice a day with water, or on lifting days three times a day with water then 30g with milk before bed.

My understanding was having it with water it would be absorbed much quicker, whereas having it with milk would be better overnight for a slower release.

It mixes really well with water though, and doesn't really taste of anything.

You get a lot more protein from other sources a day right?

Yeah. I eat two tins of tuna, chicken/lean mince, two tubs of cottage cheese, I have boiled eggs for breakfast, and lots of sunflower seeds.

I could probably eat a little bit more, but its difficult on days I'm working.

Do you eat the tins of tuna straight out or do you mix them with anything?

Eaten straight from the tin on a few occassions but it's not very pleasant IMO.

I mix my tuna as follows:

- Spoon of extra light mayo
- 2 teaspoons of Dijon Mustard
- Bit of olive oil
- Bit of vinegar

mmmmmmm tastes so good.
