Mk4 Fiesta Power Steering? Do they have it!?

As far as I know, not all models had PAS.

Its just that i've seen information stating that Power steering became standard for the Fiesta in its MK3 life.....

I had a Mk4 fiesta made in 1998 it had no power steering.

Anyway to quote...

Inside the Mk4 Fiesta, Ford waved the magic wand and transformed the interior of the Fiesta from a dingy 80's feeling plastic-fest, to a more modern airy supermini. The dash was redrawn and the seats were changed being much more supportive than the standard Mk3 ones. By now, power steering was standard, as was the driver's airbag, with the option of a passenger airbag too.

So looks like it did!!

^^ Yours just probably never worked, its was a common fault...

Just confirmed 100%, they DID all have power steering as standard!!

Only Encore and LX didn't come with PAS as standard but was an option, zetec and ghia all had PAS as standard though.

Ive got the brochure here of 1995,1996, 1997 and 1998 and its the Encore and LX that didn't have it.

I see if I can get me scanner working, try and scan the image
