By any slim chance, does anyone know how to disable the standard car alarm on a MK4 Fiesta?

Missus had a small accident last week and the car has been garaged so I've not noticed any alarm problem but the car has been parked on the road today, as I'm at my parents, and the alarm has gone off 4 times already, gonna be a long annoying night if i can't get it switched off overnight!

Don't think there is. Disconnecting the battery is probably your best bet if you want it to stop going off.

Is the alarms horn still separate to the main horn? If so it is usually behind the bumper at the rear and pretty easy to unplug. The alarm will still go off but it will be just the hazard lights flashing. Had to do it on my Mondeo a few years ago.

Either that as above with the battery or take all valuables out and leave it unlocked.
