I have a mk5 fiesta with a missing front fog light and am thinking of selling the car soon which would be cheaper buy and fit a replacement fog light or fit two front fog lamp Blanking Plates in its place ?

I looked on ebay they don't have any blanking panels for that car what is a good cheap place to get body parts for a fiesta ?
 
Replace it as someone might realise it should have foglights, especially as you'll have a foglight switch remaining!

Plenty Mk5s breaking online and around local scrappies - find one with a clean foglight and buy it, shouldnt cost more than a few quid
 
I suspect that you have got a Freestyle or Ghia model MK5?

Anyway I would just buy a replacement fog light as anyone coming to look at the car would probably notice this straight away and would be a bit suspicious.

So far ive been quoted 13gbp per blacken plate and 22gbp per fog light do you think I could get it any cheaper ?
 
For the sake of a few pounds that you could save by shopping around, I'd just buy the new foglight and get it done
 
Go to your local scrappy & get one or use the Find-A-part service.

Anyone out there who is looking for a high spec MK5 i.e. the Freestyle, Ghia & Zetec S will know that foglights come as standard on these models and if they see that yours hasn't then I imagine it would put them off.
