As above anyone got one ?

Looking at replacing long serving mk4 with a 2l tdci titanium mk5

Any experiences from you guys of the mk5?

Might be hard to get info on these given how few are on the roads :p i can't believe I've hardly seen any it's a great looking motor!
Ford should have scrapped the Mondeo name and rebranded it for the mk5 as i think the "Mondeo Man" stereotype puts a lot of potential younger buyers off nowadays. :(

It's been around in America for a while as the Ford Fusion (not to be confused with coffin-dodger Fiesta variant) so perhaps you could see what people think of that.

Guy up the road has one, looks very smart.

Saw a 5th gear review and seems it's a big improvement interior wise but its lost the fun handling from previous models.

Probably because your cheaper PCP-ing a A4 / 3 series / C class nowadays. Then who want's a Mondeo?

When I bought my 5 series, it was the same deposit and monthly payments as a 2.0 TDI Mondeo specced how you would want a Mondeo specced.

I think the most powerful mk5 is the 2.0 ecoboost with 240bhp, they only come with an auto though. Definitely not a car to look at as a new purchase as they depreciate so hard, but might be a nice contender once they are 3 years old or so.

If they bring that over here then I'll have one. But I can't see it happening since no one else will buy one :(
